Klappir is, in collaboration with Iskraemeco, nominated for the international Global Climathon Awards!
We've made it all the way to the final selection of five great climate solution ideas. This is a unique opportunity for us – voting takes just one second!
Green Penguin is an environmental competition between schools that uses Klappir's digital technology to calculate CO2 reduction into something tangible that kids can easily grasp: penguins!
If all schools and kindergartens of the Ljubljana municipality reduced their CO2 footprint by 15%, they could reduce their CO2 emissions by 1,086 tons per year.
That means 3,259 m³ of ice not melted––or 3,259 penguins saved.
By telling simple stories about complex problems, we can better grasp them and be leaders for change.
Help us launch our Green Penguin project!
The Green Penguin is now one of the top five concepts out of 107 ideas that is up for the awards and we need your help to win.
"Protecting the environment and ensuring a sustainable future for mankind is the greatest challenge of our times. Only by educating future generations and equipping them with the tools they need can we hope to achieve these goals. The Green Penguin combines the digital revolution with the green momentum and builds environmental literacy in younger generations with tools fit for the 21st century."
